January so far

Just a quick update, I've been putting in a lot of volume this year and running great too so I'm up about $1.5k including FPPs and generally feeling really good about my work ethic and my game. My BR is about $5.3k now so I'm back at 100NL and the tables have been surprisingly soft lately. Graph of this year:

26.5k hands is pretty sick in my books. Doing a $50 pool for 1mm hands in 2012 with a friend, which is massively -EV for me as I have a full time job and he plays poker full time.

I guess it's good to have some motivation though so hopefully I'll make that $50 back from playing more...

As you can see from the graph I've been trying out HM2 and I'm undecided about it - I really appreciate the massively increased import speeds and general snappiness. It's also got a lot of polish about it, but there are a lot of minor issues I have with it, e.g. the lack of contrast on the graphs, the random horizontal scrollbar (I mean wtf is that for) and a couple of annoying things about the HUD and report layouts. But overall it's pretty good and I'll probably end up upgrading to it this month (before the upgrade discount expires).

Biggest loss... pretty spewy this deep although I do think it's a really good board to barrel off on with like 100-120bbs. At least he tanked river for a while before calling, lol.
