Update

Things have generally been going much better over the past couple of days. I've eased off on the volume front a bit - I played about an hour yesterday and an hour today, making about $250 at 50NL. Not a huge win or anything but it's just what I needed right now - it feels good to book a couple of wins and get an early night for a change. Bankroll is just under $3k now and I'm close to a $100 bonus so with any luck I should be back at 100NL shortly, wheee.

It does suck to be breakeven nearly halfway through the month, but I guess that's the price I have to pay when I'm focusing on playing less tables and moving up faster. The solution to all my woes used to be "MOAR VOLUME" but it's a bit harder when you can no longer play 1200 hands/hr... it's pretty easy to be stuck in a downswing for weeks (or even months) and that's just something I'll have to get used to.

In other news, the 3-button theorem is still alive and well going into 2012...
