10k hand session

Term is basically over (got 1 more day of lectures, no more coursework thank God) so today I put in a cheeky 10k hand session, which I'm pretty sure is my longest session ever in terms of hands... was about 11 hours but it seems all the 15-hour live sessions have made for pretty good practice :)

Not a great session in terms of raw profit, but I did make $300, plus $170 RB and I bought and cleared a $250 Black card bonus, since I'm trying to use up my FTPs before my Black Card expires. I know I keep saying this but I will probably move to Stars after new year... should be able to get the equivalent of 40-45% RB without too much difficulty, much better than the crappy 27% with contributed MGR. Today's session really made me realise how much I'm being screwed by FTP. On their Ironman scheme I get pretty much nothing unless I grind out 500 FTPs a day, 20 days a month - the 6.4k FTPs I earned today mean jack shit:

Regardless I'm pretty happy with a +$720 day to get me back on track a bit after the pain and misery that is Aspers. Also played a £100 live donkament over the weekend, always good to break up the grind a bit with something different but it did make me remember why I hate tourneys... as for Xmas, will probably be playing a decent amount, should be able to use up all my FTPs pretty easily, might go to London to play some live if I can be bothered. Anyways, time to end this post as I have lectures in a few hours then hopefully hitting the pub for a bit afterwards
