August is looking a bit better, still haven't been playing much because I have so much going on - my entire family has their birthdays within an 18 day period in August so it's a really busy month! Something I've done recently is drop the number of tables I play from 12 to 9 - after my second session of the month I looked at my stats and thought "HOLY SHIT I'M PLAYING 13/11 AT 6MAX"... I think it's time to actually focus on playing rather than autopiloting for a 4k hand session. My game seems to have healed up a bit since then, so I'm now BE on the month.
I should be putting in a bit more volume the next couple of weeks, as long as I don't waste too much time playing RDR and BFBC2 which I got for my birthday (both awesome games btw). I know I'm waaaay behind pace now (and I doubt I'll catch up by the end of the year tbh) but my main focus now is beating 100NL for a good clip over a decent sample, then I can move up to 200NL and beyond where I can make some serious money.
Haven't posted a photo in a while, so here's one I took in Lymington with my 55-250mm lens (250mm, f/5.6, 1/250 if you're interested). For such a cheap lens I was really impressed and got some great photos, lots of wild horses who invaded our picnic, lol. This is probs my favourite one though.
