Kinda getting used to it now, so whatever. As long as FTP doesn't keep fucking crashing every 10 mins... >:(

Cardiff was pretty cool - like a lot of places the city centre is really nice, some scummy looking areas away from the centre but meh. It feels just like England, or at least a wannabe England - often the only hint you're in Wales is from the bilingual signs that say something like "Information" then immediately below "Llwtwltllydygdsglyddlstjylsgl", dead giveaway imo. All the shops there seem to be ridiculously huge - they have the UK's largest John Lewis, a massive Boots and a huge M&S with a fresh sandwich bar, gg bankroll lol.

Didn't get much of a chance to go around Bristol, but did some shopping and bought a bunch of new clothes, sick red hoodie from G-Star and some Superdry T-shirts. Overall seems like a decent place.

I think my volume is starting to dwindle a bit - it's not easy putting in hands when you're losing every session, but I'm hoping to hit 100k hands by the 25th (when I go on a well-deserved holiday). Obviously I'm not gonna be anywhere near my profit goal (pace is about $8k/month) but hopefully I'll manage to make a few k over the next couple weeks.

Keep your head up, man. Variance can be a bitch! I'm running like crap too but it'll turn around for us both. You still available to for a sweat session sometime? Let me know.

"[Cardiff] feels just like England" Hilarious. I had to do a mental GPS check, briefly considering Cardiff might be in France. OK, I do have my suspicions about Rhode Islanders and Nutmeggers, as New Englanders are the most parochial people in the States, but Britons must take the cake. You expect Wales to be a foreign country in any way beyond a technicality in this day and age? I don't know how long it's been a part of the United Kingdom off the top of my head but if you put the line at 1000 years right now I'd take the over. Anyway, it just made me laugh -- I remember watching Benny Hill as a little kid and there were whole bits in Welsh I never could parse... or maybe it was just Cockney? Eh, I'm just a barbarian and can't tell the diff!

Anyway, better luck to you at the tables. I've put my BR on a diet and will have to bink an MTT before I make it back to cash games. Run better amigo!!

OK, I've looked it up, and I guess it's only been under English control since 1284. I'd still take the over in a game of Lodden Thinks with any random American!
